I deliberately sat out on the sidelines a couple of years ago when my then classmates & tutors at DMU (UK) got involved with Penguin’s first wiki novel experiment: http://www.guardian.co.uk/books/booksblog/2007/mar/12/livingwithamillionpenguins
Many reasons informed that decision, not least a subliminal commercial undertone I perceived, inferred by Penguin’s overall control of the project. I believe in the idea of a networked book, I believe in the idea of networked art, I also believe that ideas don’t ’realize’ value until implemented.
I came here to explore ways I could add value, ideas, and effort in terms of implementing, adding, contributing, to collective belief in this project.
